The Wellington County Museum and Archives (WCMA) is hosting several spooktacular events this month to celebrate Halloween:
Murder Mystery Nights (ages 14+), October 27 and 28 starting at 7:00 pm
Unleash your detective skills for this live theatrical performance, complete with hors d’oeuvres, drinks and live music. There are two types of tickets: an alcoholic drink ticket is $50 plus HST, and a non-alcoholic drink ticket is $45 plus HST.
Cemetery Tours (ages 14+), October 20, 21, 27 and 28, 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm
Explore the burial sites of the former “Poor House.” Tickets are $15 per person plus HST.
Hallow’Tots Party, November 1, 10:00 am – 11:00 am
All little ghouls and goblins are invited! The event is perfect for children under five. There will be crafts, games, stories and trick-or-treating. Pre-registration is required, and admission is by donation.
Pumpkin Walk, November 1, 7:00 pm
Show off your Jack O’Lanterns at this annual event. Bring your carved pumpkins to the museum between 9:00 am and 4:30 pm. At dusk, pumpkins will be lit for one last show. Pre-registration is not required, and admission is by donation.
