Wellington County Museum and Archives’ newest exhibit is "All Aboard!"
Celebrate 150 years of railway history in Wellington County as we explore the companies, towns and people that shaped an industry.
“Catch a glimpse into how the railway industry impacted our communities, economy and local businesses by learning about the companies, workers and day-to-day happenings of the railway,”
said Curatorial Assistant Lindsay Woelfle, who curated the exhibit.
“I tried to condense 150 years of history into a few key topics that best represent such a broad and fascinating topic. This exhibit features unique artifacts and photographs that highlight important railway stories from around the County.”
The exhibit will open July 23 and run until April 2022.
The Wellington County Museum and Archives is located on Wellington Road 18 between Fergus and Elora. All patrons will be screened prior to entry and are required to wear a mask or face covering at all times.
The galleries are open weekdays from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm and 1:00 to 5:00 pm on weekends and holidays.
Admission by donation.
