In a concert on Saturday evening, October 29th, at River Run Centre, GSO, under the direction of conductor Judith Yan, will present the Season Opening Gala – All Hallow’s Eve Ball. The gala will feature symphonic masterpieces inspired by All Hallow’s Eve, including works by Mussorgsky, Berlioz, Prokofiev, Saint-Saens, and Poulenc.
This season-opener will include performances by the legendary Canadian Piano Duo Anagnoson and Kinton, and special surprise guests from the Guelph Community.
Back by popular demand is the Gala pre-concert dinner. This elegant event will be held in Co-operator’s Hall, and tickets are available via http://www.guelphsymphony.com/gso-gala-dinner
Immediately following the concert, there will be a fantastic after party for the entire audience, featuring food, refreshments, and a Silent Auction. The after party has been generously sponsored by the Delta Guelph Hotel and Conference Centre and Stonehammer Brewing.
