5 Brave Fire Fighters Stage 54 Hour Campout on March 3rd

Five members of the Guelph Professional Fire Fighters Association will be camping on the roof of the Stone Road Mall in Guelph. They are doing this in an effort to raise $12,500 for Muscular Dystrophy.

For the third strait year, Guelph Fire Fighters will be donating their time in a unique and exciting way. Five members of the Guelph Professional Fire Fighters Association will be camping on the roof of the Stone Road Mall in Guelph. They are doing this in an effort to raise $12,500 for Muscular Dystrophy.

The Guelph Fire Fighters have been supporting those affected by neuromuscular disorders since 1971, and to date have raised $303,565.64. Last Year Guelph Professional Fire Freighters were able to raise over $25,000 in support of MD Canada.

5 Brave Fire Fighters will be ascending onto the roof of the mall with the help of Guelph ‘s Aerial truck at 11am Friday March 3rd and will remain up there for 54 straight hours. These individuals will be eating, sleeping and fundraising from that rooftop until 5pm on Sunday. There will a launch of the event at 11am before the Fire Fighters head up to the roof.

The Campers will be visible on the roof between the Chapters and the Starbucks entrance. There will be donation boots at that location in addition to boots and take-away items at center court in the mall.
