On Saturday December 8th at 7:30pm, local chanteuses Brenda Lewis and Gayle Ackroyd bring their sixth annual popular Christmas Harmonies concert to the ANAF Club. This year they are joined on a few songs by special guests acclaimed singer-songwriter Laura Bird http://www.laurabird.com
/, and, Marilyn Alexander http://www.facebook.com
Aside from their Christmas show, Brenda and Gayle have in recent years expanded their performances to repertoire suitable for any time of the year and have gained a loyal following in Guelph Civic Museum's Fourth Fridays concert series, and, Guelph Guild of Storytellers Guild's Tea n Tales summer series at Riverside Park.

Brenda & Gayle – A Family Connection:
Brenda’s older brother Dave – and Gayle’s sister Mary and brother-in-law Jim toured in a country rock band http://langandackroydband.com
/ together across much of Canada and in Europe over most of the 1980’s. After Gayle moved to Guelph (8 years ago), both families told Brenda and Gayle about each other, so it was only a matter of time before they finally met up. Since then, Brenda and Gayle have been performing their annual Sweet n’ Sassy Christmas Harmonies concerts for five years and will soon begin preparing for year number six … with these kinds of “family ties”, it’s no surprise that their voices compliment each other so well!
