Wood spent 5 years with the Carleton Ravens from 2013-2017, where the Ravens went on to win the CIS Championship in each of those years. In 2016 Wood was awarded the CIS Tournament MVP. Wood also received awards for: 2017 CIS Player of the Year, CIS All-Canadian First Team, OUA Player of the Year, and ALL-OUA First Team.
In the 2016-2017 season with Carleton, Wood averaged 19.2 PPG, and shot 50.3% from behind the arc. After Wood’s 2017 season, he joined Team Canada at the World University Games, where he helped lead the team to the William Jones Cup (Championship) while averaging 14.0 PPG, 2.3 RPG, and 2.2 ASG.
Wood signed his first professional contract with the Niagara River Lions of the NBLC, where in his rookie year he appeared in 44 games while averaging 9.3 PPG, 2.3 RPG, and 2.2 APG.
In 2018, Wood signed with the Paderborn Baskets of the ProA second-tier league in Germany where he appeared in 28 games for the club while averaging 12.7 PPG, 2.7 RPG, and 2.9 APG.
