UFC World Champion Carlos Newton, Canada’s first ever UFC World Welterweight Champion, will be coming to Guelph, Ontario Saturday February 9th, 2019.
Organized by Guelph Family Martial Arts, THIS event will include a seminar with several martial arts techniques and meet and greet, which will include photo and signature opportunities. Also, participants will have the chance to pose and hold the UFC Belt.
Newton has competed against Dan Henderson, Kazushi Sakuraba, Pat Miletich, Matt Hughes, Anderson Silva, Renzo Gracie and Matt Lindland. Newton has competed in the UFC, Pride and IFL.
Guelph Resident and World Champion Nathan Skoufis, owner of Guelph Family Martial Arts wanted to bring something exciting to the community he has lived in for his entire life. Skoufis has claimed numerous world titles throughout the globe in martial arts in NBL, NASKA, IFMA and NAFMA.
This will be Carlos Newton’s only stop on his seminar tour before he returns home.
Doors open at 3:00 pm. Open to the public.
