Guelph Nighthawks Single Game Tickets Now On Sale

For Immediate Release - April 9, 2019

Guelph, ONAs of 10am this morning single game tickets for the Guelph Nighthawks inaugural 2019 Canadian Elite Basketball League season have officially been released and made available for purchase through Ticketmaster at https://www.ticketmaster.ca/guelph-nighthawks-tickets/artist/2538266.

“Single game tickets start at $20, inclusive of all taxes and fees.  With more than 75% of our seating inventory available at $25 or under our goal is to make Guelph Nighthawks basketball not only the most dynamic sport entertainment experience in the city but one that is affordable and accessible to attend,” said Cameron Kusch, President of the Guelph Nighthawks.  “Our inaugural home opener on May 11th at the Sleeman Centre will be one of the biggest events of the summer in Guelph.  We are encouraging the community to get their tickets now and lock down the best seats while they are still available.”

Access to both the McDonald’s ‘Hawks Nest Family Zone and the Baseline Social Bar is included with the purchase of any ticket to Guelph Nighthawks basketball.  The McDonald’s ‘Hawks Nest is a courtside experience that includes player autograph stations, Swoop’s Nest, face painting and family-inspired food and beverage offerings.  The Baseline Social Bar, located on the opposite baseline, is a unique courtside public lounge serving up premium beer, wine and cocktails and providing fans with the ideal space to grab a drink and socialize with friends while taking in Nighthawks basketball.

More than 50% of the seating inventory for Guelph Nighthawks single game tickets are priced at $20, inclusive of taxes and fees.  For those aspiring for an elevated experience courtside seating starts at $55 and includes access to a VIP Lounge located beside the Nighthawks team room, in-seat service and a private entry gate.


Modelled after top international professional leagues, the CEBL is comprised of six founding teams located in Guelph, Hamilton, St. Catharines, Saskatoon, Edmonton and Abbotsford.  Each teams regular season schedule will be comprised of 10 home and 10 road games using FIBA (International Basketball Federation) rules, and player and referee standards set by Canada Basketball.  Rosters are comprised of 70 percent Canadian players, with many playing professionally in North America and overseas during the traditional basketball season.

The Guelph Nighthawks 2019 training camp opens April 26th at the University of Guelph.  The club will play their inaugural game in Abbotsford against the Fraser Valley Bandits on May 9th, and their home opener on Saturday, May 11th at the Sleeman Centre against the Saskatchewan Rattlers.
