Join us for three special late night shopping events on historic Quebec Street in Downtown Guelph. Featuring in-store offers, prizes, festive treats, and performances lit up by a very special light installation, the event will see stores open until 8pm on Thursday December 5th, Friday December 6th and Saturday December 7th.
Quebec Street offers a rich selection of stores for those looking to find one-off gifts and presents a unique shopping experience in a beautiful setting. Take time to discover the very best independent retail stores and eateries, and wrap up all your Christmas shopping in one outing.
The Quebec Street businesses will also be holding three separate gift basket raffles for the duration of the Holiday Open House weekend. Visit a business - put your name in the draw!
Adding to the magic this year, we are delighted to introduce St George’s Spark. Hundreds of sound-activated bulbs installed on a large tree by the family fountain will light up to music and performance on all three late night shopping evenings. Enjoy festive calypso from Starlite Steel Band, traditional carols from the Salvation Army, interactive drumming and performance from FunkBucket and the Parking Garage Band, and holiday acapella from the Side Notes choir. Performances begin at 6.30pm on each of the three evenings.
St George’s Spark will continue to light up Downtown Guelph in the winter months. We invite visitors to bring an instrument, sing a song, or simply clap and be dazzled by a beautiful display of colour and light.
