On December 7, the County’s Economic Development Division launched a Rural Transit Survey to assess the public transportation needs and preferences of Wellington County residents.
The Rural Transit Survey, available at www.wellington.ca/transitsurvey, was designed to collect feedback about residents’ experiences and challenges with the County’s existing transit services.
The data gathered will be organized and analyzed by the County’s Economic Development Division and presented to the Economic Development Committee in the new year.
“It is incredibly important for us to understand the complexities of Wellington County’s rural transit system,”
said Warden Andy Lennox.
“This survey is a great opportunity for residents to voice their opinions and help us ensure that the County’s future transportation strategies align with the needs of those we serve.”
All respondents that complete the rural transit survey will have the chance to be entered into a draw for $250 in Ride Well credits. The survey will remain entirely anonymous, providing a confidential platform where individuals can freely share their feedback.
“The opinions provided will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of transportation in Wellington County,” commented Economic Development Committee Chair, Jeff Duncan. “By sharing your experiences, challenges and suggestions, you are contributing directly to the development of solutions that meet the evolving needs of our diverse communities.”
