Focus on Nature is pleased to announce that the City of Guelph Community Grant and the Musagates Fund has awarded a total of $4,000. The City of Guelph has awarded $2,000 towards new equipment for students to use in upcoming workshops and summer camps.
$2,000 has been awarded from The Musagetes Fund, a fund held by The Guelph Community Foundation, to support their goal towards the Autumn Student Photo Exhibition in Guelph for 2025. The Musagetes Fund is intended to act as a catalyst for the ongoing production and enjoyment of performing, visual and literary arts excellence in Guelph and area. The Fund aims to make art more central and meaningful in people's lives. The Musagetes Fund is interested in approaches to building community and culture.

said Alexandria Benitez, Focus on Nature’s Executive Director.
“We hope that it will help us continue our pursuit of obtaining new equipment for all of our students to use. With better quality cameras coming, our photographers will be able to take clearer pictures with professional quality. Additionally, we look forward to seeing the incredible talent Guelph students have produced in our upcoming Autumn Photography Exhibition. With the support of the Musagates Fund and the City of Guelph, we are grateful for their continued support.”
Focus on Nature is a Registered Charity based in Guelph, Ontario, that delivers school-based nature photography programs that inspire young people to connect with the natural world and develop their own creative potential.
